Announcing Delinquent Tenant Reporting (DTR) System

Xi Screening Solutions, a division of Ximand Technology Partners if proud to announce the Delinquent Tenant Reporting (DTR) system providing landlords the ability to report tenant delinquency as well as good payment history directly to the bureaus. This system will available starting February 1st 2010. Of course you can go ahead and pre-signup in the Xi2010 System if you wish.

The new Delinquent Tenant Reporting (DTR) allows you to report both good and bad tenant history, just like your credit card company does. This ability has previously been the preserve of large credit card companies and department stores with thousands of accounts. Remember this is not just for negative reporting. As a landlord you now become a trade on a tenant's credit report and get a chance to help their credit as they pay on time!

Xi2010 Delinquent Tenant Reporting SystemWhile some landlords have assumed this ability was previously available; they sometimes found out the hard way when none of their reported delinquencies ended up at the major bureaus. With this new service tenants will clearly understand the consequences of carrying a bad mark on their credit record. This usually results in better collection responses and less incidence of bad debt.

This exclusive arrangement with the bureaus demonstrates the respect and credibility the bureaus attach to LandlordPortal’s size, continued quality and excellence. The new service will allow member landlords/owners to apply for a negative reporting account with TransUnion. They are then assigned a special Reporting Subscriber Code by TransUnion within two weeks of enrollment as long as they are members of LandlordPortal.com. This subscriber code can then be used exclusively through the Xi2010 Screening Platform to report tenant history. As you start using the new DTR system you have the ability to go back 2 years for tenant history. 

Tenant History Indicators“Until now, any attempt at collections was ineffective. There was no real threat to the bad tenant; landlords had no recourse beyond the courts. Now our members can pull out all previously unpaid debts and report them. For new tenants, this program will allow landlords/owners to insert a clause in the lease agreement making it clear to the tenant that they will be reported upon default and it will harm their credit.”, said an official at LandordPortal.com.
